SpectraVision books, April. SpectraVision is the reflected projection of a simulated, moving hologram-like character into three-dimensional space. The moving picture is fascinating, and will keep the attention of a young and old child. Give this book a test run. This is like a moving or pop up book in a completely new form. Remember the Etch a sketch? This reminds me of Etch a sketch.

January. The girls love this book. They always ask for it. The brother is green with envy until he turns into a pink ghost (peek-a-Boo). The pink references are wonderful. The family has fun with the pink little girl. The parents need to do a better job of keeping pink cupcakes away from the pinkerella princess. See if you can find the pickle(s) in the book with the green food. Lots of fun.

I borrowed the
book from the library and fell in love with it. There is a great lesson for adults and children in
eating healthy food and maintaining an appropriate weight. Wells and Brown really hit on issues troubling our
families today - from excessive television watching and gigantic RV use. They call for a simpler
life with more home grown fruits and veggies. Look for your local soup or salad, rather then the
Burger King. Also, the youngest Gulp is adorable. Hurray for Wellness.
